Wings of the Storm
(John G. Blystone, 1926)
Based on a story by Lawrence William Pedrose, On the Wings of the Storm, the film stars Thunder the Dog as himself, a police dog. After gaining a reputation as a coward, Thunder runs away from a lumber camp and its owner, Anita Baker (Virginia Brown Faire) and is adopted by a forest ranger (Reed Howes). Thunder must redeem himself by rescuing his former owner from the camp's treacherous superintendent (William Russell) in the story's thrilling climax.
