Winds of Chance

From Rex Beach's epic tale of the Alaska gold rush, the film tells the story of Pierce Phillips (Ben Lyon), who joined the rush only to lose his stake gambling in a shell game. While working as a luggage packer, he falls for the lovely Countess Courteau (Anna Q. Nilsson). When the Count (Philo McCullough) discovers the romance, he frames Phillips for a gold robbery.
